Sharing Our Faith With Others

There is a principle of life that holds true in every aspect of life — that whatever we do not use, we lose (Matthew 25:24-29). Just as our physical body functions more effectively when we exercise it, our faith in Christ grows as we share that faith with others (1 Timothy 4:7; Hebrews 5:14; cf. 2 Timothy 2:1-2; Ephesians 4:15; Colossians 1:1-10; 1 Peter 2:2; 2 Peter 3:18).

When we realize that millions of people are perishing without the gospel today, that fact alone should motivate us to share our faith with others. This is just one of the reasons why the first century church grew (Acts 5:41-42; Acts 20:17-21).

The only way the light of the gospel can illuminate the hearts of men, is through the teaching and preaching of the gospel (Acts 5:17-25; Acts 18:7-11; Romans 10:14-15; 1 Corinthians 9:16).

Someone has said, "Those who know the value of time, use it in preparation for eternity."

Dear reader, let us use our time wisely, winning souls for Christ (John 9:4; Ephesians 5:13-17; Proverbs 11:30; James 5:20).

Why? "Only what's done for Christ will last" (see here).
