Three Great Life Principles

Three great life principles that faithful Christians should live by, are found in the following Scriptures, along with a Bible example:

1) Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you” (cf. Proverbs 11:24; Proverbs 19:17; 2 Corinthians 9:6).

Life Principle: We can’t outgive God.

Example: (Malachi 3:10; 2 Chronicles 31:5-10; Proverbs 3:9).

2) Luke 12:48: “For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more” (cf. 1 Corinthians 9:16-23).

Life Principle: Those folks who have been blessed with much (talents, monies, etc.), much will be required of them (Luke 12:47-48).

Example: Parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30).

3) Galations 6:7-8: “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life” (cf. 2 Corinthians 9:6).

Life Principle: Whatever we plant, either physically or spiritually, we will eventually reap.

Example: Rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-25).
