What Does The Phrase, "She Shall Be Saved In Childbearing" Mean?

A man and his wife once asked me, “Can you please provide my wife and I the proper interpretation of 1 Timothy 2:15?”

This passage states,

“Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”

Various kinds of interpretations of this verse have been advocated. It is a high probability that the phrase, “in childbearing” is a synecdoche for “the entire status of women in their relationship to God and men.”
