From the New Yorker comes this headline: “Red Sex, Blue Sex – Why Do So Many Evangelical Teen-Agers Become Pregnant?”

And adolescents who say that their families understand them, pay attention to their concerns, and have fun with them are more likely to delay intercourse, regardless of religiosity.“
God’s plan regarding the family unit (husband, wife & children) still works — One man and one woman for life (Matthew 19:1-6; cf. Genesis 5:1-2; Romans 7:1-2; 1 Corinthians 7:39) — instructing their children in the nurture & admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4; Titus 2:1-8).
If we’ll follow God’s plan for the family (see here and here), our society and nation will become what God wants it to become — a nation that does “right” in His sight (Proverbs 14:34; cf. Psalm 9:17) — a nation blessed by God (cf. Deuteronomy 6-7).
