We Don't Have To Be Robbed Of Our Joy

An old man was once asked what had robbed him of  joy the most in his lifetime. He replied, “Things that never happened!

Brethren, we don’t have to be robbed of our joy, for the Scriptures tell us that:

1) God loves us (John 3:16; Romans 5:8), therefore we should never "fret" (Psalm 37:1-5 KJV).

2) God leads us and holds us (Psalm 139:10, therefore we should never "faint" (2 Corinthians 4:14-16 KJV).

3) God keeps us (Psalm 121:5), therefore we should never "fear" (1 John 4:18 KJV).

Therefore, like Paul, let us “Rejoice in the Lord always” (Philippians 4:4 ESV).
