Some "One Another" Expressions

Central to Christianity, is a personal relationship between an individual and God (Matthew 22:36-37). A healthy and vital relationship with God, eliminates the sin that separates us from our loving Father (Isaiah 59:1-2). Obeying the command to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, and mind, makes it possible for each of us to live in God’s presence, both now and forever.

God’s word tells us that our relationship with God is demonstrated through healthy relationships with other people (Matthew 22:39; cf. Romans 13:8-10; Gal. 5:13-14; James 2:8). Both Christians and non-Christians alike should be able to easily recognize our daily behavior as being godly and righteous. In our contacts with one another, our godliness should be evident.

With these thoughts in mind, let us note some of the “one another” expressions in the New Testament that reflect the newness of life we find in our walk with Jesus:
