"We Learn The Best Lessons When We Don't Quit"

Michael Hyatt, best-selling author and leadership guru, asks a very important question this morning: "What Keeps You Going When You Want To Quit?" Mr. Hyatt discusses what he does when facing obstacles that might cause him to want to throw up his hands and say, "I Quit!"

Regarding staying the course in any area of life, Mr. Hyatt makes the following four important points:

1) There is a distinction between a dream and the work required to obtain it.

2) Everything important requires w-o-r-k hard work.

3) Whatever we are trying to accomplish that requires a level of difficulty, we need to ask ourselves this question: "Why am I doing this hard thing that I am doing?" Then connect ourselves to our original dream or vision, helping us to keep going when things get tough.

4) The bottom line is (quoting Mr. Hyatt): "We learn the best lessons when we don’t quit. This is when our character is transformed and good things happen."
