While reading this American Thinker article this morning about how Planned Parenthood is spending millions of taxpayer dollars in order to elect Democrats to political office, my eyes focused on this keyword: "loophole."Above article author, Rick Moran, describes this "loophole":
"There's a loophole in the campaign finance laws that allows Planned Parenthood to create a separate entity to collect donations and distribute cash and services to candidates. The PPFA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, while Planned Parenthood Action is a 501(c)(40) advocacy group. They keep separate books and are not allowed by law to coordinate action. But does anyone really believe that the Planned Parenthood Action Fund doesn't do the bidding of Planned Parenthood, the non-profit?"
When it comes to money and its ability to motivate mankind for either evil or good, I firmly believe that the Planned Parenthood Action Fund does do the bidding of Planned Parenthood, in its continued murder of innocent babies in the womb (see current stats).
Regarding loopholes, the Jews relied on a Jewish tradition which stated that one could declare his possessions "Corban" (see Bible dictionary), and therefore not subject to lien or other obligations as justification for not taking care of their elderly parents. They thought they had found a loophole.
However, God had commanded them to “honor” their parents, as well as to support the temple (Exodus 20:12; cf. Ephesians 6:2). This supposedly noble gesture of dedicating possessions to God was destroyed by its use to escape obligations to parents. Jesus exposed their hypocrisy, referring to Isaiah 29:13: “These people draw near to me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Matthew 15:8-9).
Beloved, regarding so-called "loopholes" that men have developed in order to circumvent a moral obligation — "God is not mocked" (Galations 6:7-8 AMP).
