As I read this story this evening about the love and concern displayed by many people over a dying dog in the grip of cancer, I thought, this is the kind of love and concern that humans should have for one another (John 13:34-35; cf. Ephesians 5:2; 1 Thessalonians 4:9; James 2:8; 1 Peter 1:22).Beloved, as evidenced by the love and concern for the dog in the above story, this is what love can do.
With all of the hatred being presently displayed in our society, we should love the souls of men with even greater intensity than ever before.
