"It Is Time To Wake Up To Reality"

As I read American Thinker writer Jim Yardley's good article here this morning, about his solution to the anti-Trump riots/protests, I thought, just because Donald Trump won the presidency by the electorate of our country, these young people are rioting?

It's a shame that we have such irresponsible young people in our country who are willing to destroy other people's property (and even lives), just because their candidate lost an election. If they have concerned and loving parents, perhaps they should have taught them the biblical teaching found in Romans 13:1-14 (Phillips), especially vs's. 11-14:

"Why all this stress on behaviour? Because, as I think you have realised, the present time is of the highest importance—it is time to wake up to reality. Every day brings God’s salvation nearer. The night is nearly over, the day has almost dawned. Let us therefore fling away the things that men do in the dark, let us arm ourselves for the fight of the day! Let us live cleanly, as in the daylight, not in the “delights” of getting drunk or playing with sex, nor yet in quarrelling or jealousies. Let us be Christ’s men from head to foot, and give no chances to the flesh to have its fling."

These young people need to realize that, as the above text states, "it is time to wake up to reality" and place their emphasis on spiritual things rather than on fleshly things (Colossians 3:1-2).

As Paul writes in the above text:

"Let us be Christ's men from head to foot, and give no chances to the flesh to have its fling."
