The Freedom Of Choice In Education

Educator
This writer was thrilled to see Betsy DeVos being confirmed as education secretary by the Senate here. Regarding Ms. DeVos education beliefs, American Thinker writer, Elise Cooper, states in this article:

".....she has become an advocate for returning education to the states and local communities.  She believes in working in a bipartisan manner to help empower parents make the right choices for their children.  In doing this, she has supported charter schools, school vouchers, and tuition tax credits."

Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), explains how pro-school choice works: "Being pro-school choice does not mean you want to tear down public schools; in fact the goal is the opposite. We believe that by introducing competition, we can make every school perform better."

Thus, we can see that competition is the key element in empowering students to excel and succeed in life by receiving a good well-rounded education; and that includes a spiritual education as well (see article). Present Common Core indoctrination does not promote Christian principles, values, or biblical literacy (see article).

Noah Webster once stated, "Education is useless without the Bible" (source), and these four well-respected men of history agree. Beloved, mere intelligence alone is not enough. For example, the answer to this question, cannot be sufficiently answered through a solely secular education, but can easily be answered by having a spiritual education, through an in-depth knowledge of the Bible (2 Timothy 2:15 - see article). Also, see this article.

Having the freedom of choice in education (see AT article), will assure that each student will have a more well-rounded education — not just a one-size-fits-all philosophy.
