"You Can Fix Ignorance, But You Can't Fix Stupid"

The above statement heading is something this writer has known for a long time, simply by observing people (see here). As this statement indicates, "you can fix [spiritual] ignorance (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV; cf. Ephesians 3:14-19; Ephesians 4:11-13 - note how the phrase, "fullness of God" and "fullness of Christ" is associated with the word, "knowledge"), but you can't fix stupid" (Romans 1:18-32 NLT).

The sequence to fixing spiritual ignorance, is as follows: (1) "open the Book" (Nehemiah 8:5); (2) "read and understand" the contents found in the Book (Nehemiah 8:8); and then (3) humbly "respond" to the teachings found in the Book (Nehemiah 8:9-12).

Note the same sequence in the New Testament, either stated or implied (Ephesians 3:1-4; Romans 6:12-18). Beloved, the Bible is easy to understand. The problem is that people make it complicated. And seemingly, the more "higher education" one has, the more complicated it becomes.

Regarding the understanding of the Bible (or any other book), the KISS principle is still the best principle to follow! Here are some simple rules for properly interpreting and understanding the Bible (or any other book).
