"We Don't Practice For Tests, We Practice For Life"

The above titled statement is found on a local Christian Academy marquee sign that this writer sometimes passes en route to my favorite Dairy Queen restaurant.

The idea behind the sign's statement, is that the Academy does not practice for tests as the public schools are required to do by edicts from the Texas Education Agency in Austin, Texas. Rather, they practice for life; following the life principles found in God's word -- the Bible (see here, here, and here).

Putting into practice the above life principles, are far more valuable than any test taken at a public school, for they have eternal value --- not only good for this earthly life, but for the life that is to come (Romans 2:5-7).

Beloved, let's practice for life -- the life that only Jesus Christ our Lord can provide (John 14:5-6 - see article).
