What Part Of "Destroy" Do We Not Understand?

As American Thinker writer Sam Holliday writes in this article, regarding the Islamist who recently killed pedestrians and cyclists on the bike path near the World Trade Center memorial: "the motivation of the worldwide Islamic movement to destroy Western culture is the original, authentic 7th-century Islam."

Mr. Holliday goes on to write: "Our government, the media, and our political elite have not been using terminology that matches reality."

Indeed they have not. The reality of Islam, is that the Islamists will sever our heads from our bodies if given the chance. To this writer, the terminology is plain: The goal of Islam (in whatever form or ideology), is to "destroy Western culture" (see article). It is totally in opposition to Christianity, which focuses on "life" rather than "death" or "kill" (note the Koran quotes emphasizing these two words here). My question is, What part of "destroy" do we not understand? (see another means of destruction here)

The Koran teaches that "The only true faith in God's sight is Islam." However, the Bible tells us there is "one faith" (Ephesians 4:5) - "the faith" (see article) that was delivered by God one time for all time (Jude 1:3). Note that Islam is not mentioned at all in the Bible. In fact, Christianity differs from all other religions of the world, in that it is the only religion that has a Savior (see here).

Beloved, let us not be simple minded when it comes to Islam (or any other non-inspired, human-based religion), but let us wake up and willingly follow the instructions of the inspired writer Luke in Acts 17:10-11, searching the inspired Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:14-16) "daily" to find out whether these things are so.

Here are some Christian Courier and Apologetics Press articles focusing on Islam and its violent nature (and yes, Islam is a cult - see AT article). Here is a recent American Thinker article regarding the Muslim Brotherhood's plan to infiltrate America.
