Warning! Thieves Are Still Scheming

After reading this KFOX14 article, and noting the latter part of Ecclesiastes 7:29, we see that thieves are still scheming to "break in and steal" (Matthew 6:20). According to the article, thieves are now using a device called a "shimmer" (see picture).

Quoting from the above article, "Shimmers are as thin as a piece of paper and smaller than your credit card (a dummy card with a magnetic strip). A thief sticks one in an ATM, where it stays and collects information off each customer’s chip."

The smart thing to so to avoid this "shimmer" problem, is to simply use your bank's outside ATM machine, or physically go inside your bank and use their secure cash transaction machine.

However, the best solution to avoid thieves long-term, is Jesus' solution found in Matthew 6:19-20: "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal."

Beloved, this is truly the only "secure" and lasting way we can insure our "treasures" (see article).
